Doctoral project
The doctoral project investigates how large companies can systematically organise the simultaneous management of efficiency requirements and the need for innovation. It addresses the existing research gap between theoretical concepts of organisational ambidexterity and the lack of a practice-oriented procedural model for its implementation. Based on organisational and management theoretical findings, a holistic, procedural methodology is developed that makes ambidexterity manageable in organisational reality. The work combines a scientific foundation with practical applicability and provides both a theoretical contribution to organisational research and a concrete benefit for management practice. The goal is an adaptable framework that supports companies in sustainably anchoring organisational ambidexterity.
Key research areas
- Organisational design and development
- Processual design of organisational transformation
- Organisational innovation and performance management
