No New GRS Scholarships Available for 2023 Application

Unfortunately, GRS cannot advertise any new doctoral scholarships this year. This decision is based on the evaluation of the Graduate Funding Ordinance (GradV) by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture (MWFK).

Regrettably, GRS cannot announce any new doctoral studies and graduate fellowships this year. The Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture (MWFK) is currently evaluating the Graduate Funding Ordinance (GradV) of the State of Brandenburg in light of future university contracts. In recent years, GRS has received additional funding under the Graduate Funding Ordinance to award scholarships to doctoral students at BTU. However, GRS anticipates that the extent of available funds for GradV in the future will not be known until at least mid-2024. In light of this, the Ministry has expressly requested that the BTU refrain from publishing a new call for applications for the time being.

The funding for already approved scholarships is not affected by this decision. Currently, GRS is funding 26 doctoral students across various departments at BTU.
