In future, the GRS will be strengthened by external expertise through a new advisory board. Prof. Dr. Günther Tränkle, Prof. Dr. Ronald Tetzlaff and Dr. Birte Seffert have joined the advisory board. They will provide advice on the long-term strategic objectives of the GRS.

The German Scholars Organisation (GSO) has summarised the current state of the discussion on the reform of the WissZeitVG in English.

Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES) is a special training programme for doctoral students of all disciplines at German universities. This year, YES offers exciting workshops with online and on-site events across Germany.

The funding consists of the payment of Open Access publication fees in Gold Open Access journals up to a maximum amount of EUR 2,000.

In 2024, GRS will again award mobility grants to doctoral students and postdocs in the early phase after their doctorate. In addition to conference attendance and short research stays, we also support participation in online conferences.
