In special start-up courses, such as start-up management, start-up and business development or the ring laboratory start-up competence, both theoretical basics and the topics of start-up and entrepreneurship are taught and practical start-up projects are developed or concrete business plans are drawn up.

In addition, numerous chairs of economics, law, engineering and social sciences at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offer a variety of lectures, exercises, seminars and workshops as part of the curricula, in which specific topics and issues in the areas of start-up and entrepreneurship are explored in depth.
