EXIST-Women 2024 successfully completed

The pilot project is proceeding to the second phase

The EXIST-Women pilot project, which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, the EU and the EXIST - Start-ups from Science funding program, was successfully completed at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in 2024. 8 scholarship holders have gained further qualifications as a result. This resulted in the first successful start-up. Dr. Julia Korensky and Maria Sobur founded the “TripLeap Dr. Julia Korensky, Maria Sobur UG”.

The training, which consisted of various coaching sessions (financing, marketing, rhetoric, women's empowerment, etc.), was mainly carried out in presence in German or English.

Mentors accompanied the female founders. The Lausitz Frauen Netzwerk e.V. supported the project with 3 mentors entrepreneurs: Anke Pätzold, Marlene Mundil and Larissa Carlsen. In addition to the mentors from the Lausitz Frauen Netzwerk e. V., Ms. Gilda Monjane also took on this role. A retreat camp was organized and held in Teupitz with the University for Sustainable Development (HNEE). The start-up service also cooperated with the STIC and BPW as well as the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters!
