When the culture and creative pitch their ideas

Creative ideas at the Kunsthalle Lausitz

On 23 September 2026, the Kunsthalle Lausitz became a showcase for creative ideas: as part of the STAR*PARADE, founders presented their concepts from the cultural and creative industries to a jury.

The range of ideas presented was vast. Stories come to life on building façades, virtual reality offers a new perspective on the past, new venues create spaces for people to meet, and creative design brings a slice of Lausitz to life even beyond the region’s borders.

As diverse as the approaches were, they were united by the question of how culture, regional identity and creative ideas can give rise to new offerings and experiences.

Pitching, receiving feedback and further developing ideas

On stage, the participants had the opportunity to present their ideas concisely and convince the jury of their concepts. The subsequent discussion focused on questions, feedback and the further development of the projects presented.

The pitch event thus not only provided a platform for new business ideas, but also an opportunity to bring together different perspectives from the cultural and creative industries and to highlight the diversity of start-up ideas in Lusatia.

STAR*PARADE Final on 5 November

Following the pitch events in the various categories, the STAR*PARADE 2026 will bring its finalists together on 5 November in the Audimax at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.

The final is open to the public and offers interested parties the opportunity to get to know the ideas and start-up teams. Admission is free, but places are limited. Advance registration is required.
