Funding through the start-up service

The start-up service supports students, academic staff, and alumni (up to seven years after graduation) who are willing to start a company. It accompanies you on your way to self-employment, right up to the founding and even beyond.

Our support offers are divided into two levels. The first step is group coaching, a start-up seminar as an assessment in a small group. Here feedback is given by the group on the start-up idea or the business model. The group coaching is led by external start-up consultants. They not only convey basic business knowledge, e.g. on a legal structure, components of a financial plan, or marketing, but also soft skills for leadership, communication, or time management. The result of the 4-day intensive coaching is an individually created start-up roadmap with recommendations for further steps on the way to your own company.

The second step is the individual consultations for the participants by an expert. These individual consultations are free of charge. At the basic level, everyone who wants to set up a company has the right to external consultations in all areas of knowledge and expertise to the amount of 1,500 euros. If there is a further need, those wishing to set up a company can take advantage of individual consulting services worth up to 2,000 euros (see image).
