International Advisory Board

After sharpening the profile of the international orientation as part of the HRK audit on the internationalisation of universities and the HRK re-audit in 2013, BTU created the International Advisory Board, which advises the responsible member of the Presidential Board on strategic internationalisation issues.

This includes, among other things

  • Monitoring the implementation process of the internationalisation strategy
  • Developing proposals for measures to further internationalise BTU in line with the HEP and the internationalisation strategy or to improve administrative processes and procedures in the area of internationalisation
  • Ensuring the flow of information within the university as a link to the organisational units represented on the Advisory Board
  • Forum for regular dialogue with international students, academics and other Staff Members

The International Advisory Board comprises members from the faculties and the central institutions. The advisory board meets five times a year.
