The extension agreement was signed on the occasion of the EUNICE General Assembly at the Spanish partner university in Santander. In addition to BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, nine universities now belong to the European Alliance.

Through the DAAD programme RISE Germany, students and doctoral candidates from all over the world can come to Germany for an internship at a university. The seven universities in the EUNICE higher education alliance, including BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, have taken numerous measures to help the people from Ukraine.

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education, has for the first time set up a wide range of language courses open to all students, lecturers and staff of the alliance.

BTU guest students from Ukraine will spend the next six months learning German at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and embarking on an intensive journey of discovery through the region and German culture.

At the end of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Campus of European Universities will take place on 30 June 2022 at the Congress Centre in Versailles, France. The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is taking part as part of the EUNICE alliance.

Students of selected degree programmes can now apply for a scholarship starting in the winter semester 2022/23.
