"Europe is our future!"

Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, former President of the German Bundestag and winner of the International Charlemagne Prize, opened the Cottbus Europe Talks at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

BTU participates in traveling exhibition - when science becomes art

"The invisible unveiled" - Together with the partner universities from the EUNICE Alliance, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is planning a traveling exhibition to make science visible. Researchers* at BTU can submit photos of their work until June 15, 2023. The exhibition will be held at the BTU in 2024.

First Summerschool on Nursing Science at the BTU

A total of 66 students and 18 lecturers from Germany and Austria will discuss the use of academic nursing students in nursing practice from May 10 to 12, 2023, on the Senftenberg campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble opens Cottbus Europe Talks

This year's Europe Day, May 9, 2023, will see the launch of the new series of talks entitled "Cottbus Europe Talks". Former Bundestag President Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble will speak at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on the topic of "Europe - Our Future". Admission is free, registration is not required.

BTU celebrates Europe Weeks in May

The Cottbus Europe Weeks are taking place for the second time. Around Europe Day on May 9, 2023, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and the city of Cottbus have planned a colorful program on the topic of Europe and invite you to various events.

International start of studies in the summer semester 2023

More international first-year students than ever before will begin their studies at the BTU in the summer semester of 2023. In order to successfully master the start of their studies in a new country, the International Relations Office is available to provide advice and assistance within the framework of services tailored to the target group.

Promotion of Women at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg

The BTU has explicitly set itself the goal of further increasing the proportion of women in the entire field of science. Equality of all genders, equal opportunities and family orientation therefore form important cross-sectional tasks and basic principles at our university.

European University launches "Massive Open Online Course

The EUNICE universities, which include BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, have developed a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) that covers a variety of topics from a global perspective. Until May 31, anyone and everyone interested can participate via the EUNICE website; for some BTU degree programs, the course can be selected as an elective module.
