79 students are currently working hard to learn German grammar and pronunciation at the Senftenberg campus. Final exams for the "Bridge to Higher Education" students from 18 countries are scheduled for mid-June.
The BTU has been actively involved in the ERASMUS+ mobility program for more than 20 years. With currently more than 200 contracts, it represents the central element of all student and staff mobilities within the BTU cooperation network and is thus an essential component of the overall university internationalization strategy.
At the halfway point of the EUNICE project, representatives of the seven universities, including BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, are working on the implementation of the common vision for the future at the General Assembly in Valenciennes, France, from May 30th to June 1st.
We are deeply concerned about the ongoing war in Ukraine. We would like to call on all students and employees of our university to support the Ukrainian people on the ground and the refugees with donations. The donation campaign will run until May 27, 2022.

On April 26/27, 2022, a five-member delegation of the Azerbaijan University of Technology visited the BTU to discuss the further development of ongoing cooperation with the local presidium, representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Energy Systems, and the International Relations Office.
Versatile language learning opportunities: Ukrainians enrolled in the BTU Guest Student Program can choose from a wide range of courses offered by the BTU Language Center - language courses in German, English and other world languages, language café and language tandem.
As of now, the Guest Student Program at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers refugee students from Ukraine uncomplicated opportunities to participate in courses and sports classes, take advantage of language learning opportunities and study in the university library.
