STAR*PARADE 2024 - Lausitz Science Park as partner and jury member

This year's STAR*PARADE is in the starting blocks. As a further development of the Lusatian business start-up competition (LEX), the pitch event is being held as a joint project with many regional partners - including the Lausitz Science Park (LSP) - and with numerous new features.

A total of 70 entrepreneurs, idea holders and founders submitted their business ideas for the Lusatia-wide competition in ten categories by the application deadline at the end of June.

Pitch No. 1

One of the members of the expert jury in the "Students & Researchers" category is LSP team member André Röhrig (Business Development & International Affairs). On Friday, July 12, 2024, he and four other jurors will have the task of choosing the most worthy idea.

If you would like to attend this PITCH No. 1 live at the "Celsiuz" co-creation lab in Zittau, you can register HERE (including free shuttle bus from Cottbus).

The pitches for the nine other categories will take place from July to September in Görlitz or Cottbus (tbd).

Closing event on September 19

The following three prizes will be announced and awarded at the closing event on September 19: LAUSITZ*STAR category prize, SHOOTING*STAR audience prize and LUCKY*STAR raffle prize.

In addition to the chance to win these prizes (with a total value of over EUR 25,000), STAR*PARADE participants can take part in ongoing workshops to prepare for the pitches. At the monthly "STAR*PARADE Warm-Up" format with workshops and NETTworking, they also receive valuable feedback and can make contacts with key players.
