Exchange on regions of the future

Clean Energy Valley Schleswig-Holstein as a guest in Lusatia on 23 July 2025

On 23 July 2025, the team from the BTU project "Lausitz Science Park" (LSP) welcomed a delegation from the Clean Energy Valley Schleswig-Holstein with representatives of the business development agencies in Cottbus.

The focus: the joint exchange on

  • Net Zero Valley
  • Development of science parks and business parks
  • Financing, marketing and attracting investors
  • Regional cooperation, innovation and structural change

After an insight into key future projects, structural change in Lusatia and the development of the LSP, we took the guests on a tour of selected areas of potential in the park. The visit ended at the Cottbus Ostsee - a symbol of change, change of perspective and future space.

Mutual inspiration

We are very pleased with the positive feedback from Kai Lass, Rendsburg-Eckernförde Economic Development Agency, who said: "I have experienced a region that is courageously and strategically driving forward the transition to a climate-neutral industrial region - just as we intend to do for Schleswig-Holstein."

These mutual impulses are valuable for us, for Schleswig-Holstein and for all regions that want to actively utilise the opportunities of the energy transition.

Many thanks to all participants for the open, constructive and inspiring dialogue! We look forward to further cooperation. Because the future is created through dialogue.
