Young mathematicians in competition
Children and young people who enjoy brainteasers and mathematical solutions should not miss the Mathematics Day at the Brandenburg University of Technology. Similar to an Olympiad, up to 150 students with a penchant for numbers will meet on May 6, 2023. Divided into three age groups, they will compete in groups of three to five. The top three teams in each age group will win attractive cash prizes.
After the competition, those who would like to find out more about studying math will have the opportunity to attend lectures by teachers, students or graduates to get an idea of how the practical course of study is structured and what career prospects it holds in store. In addition, a math cinema, hands-on activities and brainteasers offer plenty of math fun and the chance to exchange ideas with like-minded people. The event ends with a closing gala and the award ceremony.
