From 4 to 6 July, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invited scholarship holders from all over the world to Berlin to celebrate 100 years of the DAAD together. BTU doctoral student and DAAD scholarship holder Ms Freda Adiali had the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with DAAD President Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee and Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul.

The countdown is on! All creative minds from Berlin and Brandenburg have until 14 July to submit their applications. There are many arguments in favour: participation is free, uncomplicated and creates the opportunity to reach the public and get them excited about your idea.

Science as a driver of structural change: researchers see significant impetus for Lusatia

Beatrix Krautz is Head of the Technology and Innovation Department and reports in an interview on transfer programmes, experiences and challenges.

Prof. Dr. Arnd Garsuch, an expert from BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, has strengthened the Institute of Materials Chemistry at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. As an honorary professor of technical electrochemistry, he will contribute his expertise to joint research projects and the further development of the courses on offer at the Senftenberg campus.
