Master program civil engineering

In the Master's program in Civil Engineering, the Department of Statics and Dynamics offers the specialization Structural Engineering - 1. In the assigned modules
students should learn the necessary technical knowledge for later work in structural engineering, with a special focus on understanding the fundamentals of the methods learned. Thus, students are enabled to critically check results, but also prepared for a possible PhD. Furthermore, students get a feeling for the type of modeling to be used and the degree of nonlinearities to be considered.
The English elective
addresses current research topics and enables students to work scientifically, either in preparation for a master's thesis at the Department of Statics and Dynamics, for a later doctorate, or for challenging activities in research and development in civil engineering and beyond.
