Lecture evening on art in architecture

The current event in the public lecture series "Open BTU" on Wednesday 30 October 2024 is dedicated to "Discovering and preserving (socialist) art in architecture". Start of the public lecture series "Structural Engineering" at BTU

Current challenges and successes from engineering practice in the region are the focus of the "Structural Engineering" lecture series, which starts on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 with a lecture on "Implementing sustainable solutions in civil engineering" at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Lecture evening on the topic of forensic medicine

The public lecture series "Forensic Sciences: On the trail of the crime" starts on Friday, 18 October 2024, at 5:30 pm at the main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) with Dr Hartmut Fischer from the Brandenburg State Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Active against right-wing extremism and discrimination

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) was the first university in Germany to develop an "action plan against (extreme) right-wing influence" and set up a monitoring centre in this context. This will now be launched at the start of the winter semester.

Lecture evening: Sorbian/Wendish building culture in the 20th century

The public lecture series "Open BTU" starts the winter semester with two expert lectures as part of the travelling exhibition "70 Years of Art in Architecture in Germany". All interested parties are invited to attend on Wednesday, 16 October 2024, at 5:30 pm in Audimax 1 at the main campus Cottbus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).
