BTU joins MINT Zukunft e.V.

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is a new member of the national initiative "MINT Zukunft schaffen!" (MINT Zukunft e.V.) and is working alongside companies, associations and foundations to strengthen STEM education.

BTU pre-course program for a successful start to your studies

By attending study preparation courses, including the "Study success with AI" course, which is unique in Germany, future students at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) have the optimal conditions to prepare themselves for the new challenges of their studies in a targeted manner and free of charge.

Heat in the city

A study at the BTU is investigating climate adaptation measures in Berlin from a socio-spatially differentiated perspective. As part of city walks, the project is building on ideas and reflections from the population.

BTU doctoral candidate wins the "2024 AOM Best Student Paper Award" at the world's most important management conference

Andreas Salmen, doctoral candidate at the chair of ABWL, in particular Empirical Business Research and Transformation at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), was awarded the "2024 AOM Best Student Conference Paper Award" by the Research Methods Division of the Academy of Management (AOM) together with his supervisor Prof. Dr. Diemo Urbig.

Building blocks from nature for modern and sustainable materials

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Axel T. Neffe is now head of the Chair of Organic Chemistry with a focus on polymers at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). With his scientific expertise and specialist know-how, he enriches research and teaching at the Institute of Materials Chemistry on the Campus Senftenberg.

Creativity, innovation and experimentation at the Institute of Architecture

The Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning invites all interested parties to take a tour of studios and buildings on Friday, 9 August 2024, from 12 noon. Student projects from the end of the summer semester will be presented. The students' designs will provide an insight into studying and teaching at the Institute of Architecture
