Lecture evening on the topic of forensic medicine

The public lecture series "Forensic Sciences: On the trail of the crime" starts on Friday, 18 October 2024, at 5:30 pm at the main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) with Dr Hartmut Fischer from the Brandenburg State Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Active against right-wing extremism and discrimination

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) was the first university in Germany to develop an "action plan against (extreme) right-wing influence" and set up a monitoring centre in this context. This will now be launched at the start of the winter semester.

Lecture evening: Sorbian/Wendish building culture in the 20th century

The public lecture series "Open BTU" starts the winter semester with two expert lectures as part of the travelling exhibition "70 Years of Art in Architecture in Germany". All interested parties are invited to attend on Wednesday, 16 October 2024, at 5:30 pm in Audimax 1 at the main campus Cottbus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Waste Management rethought - Waste2Wealth relies on innovative technologies for the recovery of recyclable materials in Georgia

The Waste2Wealth project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as part of the Export Initiative Environment (EXI), starts with the vision of utilising agricultural waste streams more efficiently, recovering valuable resources and demonstrating German environmental technologies for the circular economy in Georgia.

DAAD Prize 2024 of the BTU awarded to Karen Revoredo Khalil

For the 30th time, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) has awarded the DAAD Prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, to an international student. This award recognises both outstanding academic achievements and exceptional social commitment.
