Researchers from the Chair of Aquatic ecology at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) have made a significant contribution to a new study published in the renowned journal Science.

The public lecture series "Forensic Sciences: On the trail of the crime" starts on Friday, 18 October 2024, at 5:30 pm at the main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) with Dr Hartmut Fischer from the Brandenburg State Institute of Forensic Medicine.

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) has appointed Dr.-Ing. Christine Ruffert as an adjunct professor. Prof. Dr Ruffert has been contributing her expertise in microsystems technology and Applied Physics to research and teaching at BTU since October 2024.

The Waste2Wealth project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as part of the Export Initiative Environment (EXI), starts with the vision of utilising agricultural waste streams more efficiently, recovering valuable resources and demonstrating German environmental technologies for the circular economy in Georgia.

For the 30th time, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) has awarded the DAAD Prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, to an international student. This award recognises both outstanding academic achievements and exceptional social commitment.
