Since 2017 BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg has been organising the Teaching Day with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of the quality of teaching at our university. Each year, the event focuses on a different theme: from current technical developments (keyword: artificial intelligence) to the opportunities and challenges of online courses, and an examination and assessment practices.

The Teaching Day offers lecturers the opportunity to present their ideas and projects, receive feedback and learn from colleagues. Students and interested members of the public are also invited to take part in workshops, presentations and discussion panels to learn more about different teaching approaches and educational opportunities, and to play an active role in shaping teaching at our university.
