Professional Perspectives
After successfully completing a Master degree, graduates acquire in-depth expertise and competencies to undertake urban design and development tasks, mindful of the local architectural culture and urban development. The programme encompasses both an academic and a design-oriented urban design education, preparing students for an international career path in responsible positions in an interdisciplinary and project-oriented manner. Besides private planning firms, opportunities abound in public administrations, NGOs, and international institutions. Given the English-language instruction, graduates have access to a global job market.
For non-consecutive degree programmes completed at BTU, students are responsible for clarifying the possibility of professional recognition in consultation with the corresponding state chamber.
