BTU self-help bicycle workshop

The BTU DIY Bicycle Workshop has opened weekly again since January 2023! In the basement of LG10 every Tuesday from 15:30 - 18:00 students, faculty and external people can repair their bikes on their own or with the help of the people on site.

Your bike has a flat tire? Or you have an eight? No problem! Just come to the BTU self-help bike workshop. There are plenty of tools and spare parts in the two basement rooms that you can use for a donation. If you get stuck on your own, there are always people around during opening hours who can help you!

You have special questions or want to get involved in the bike workshop? Then just write us an email to: fahrradwerkstatt(at)b-tu.de

Who runs the workshop? The bicycle workshop was restarted by students of the BTU4Future module in the winter semester 2022/23 after it fell asleep during the pandemic period. Currently, it continues to be run by students and volunteers. More people are always needed to support the team! If you are interested, just drop us a mail :-)

Opening hours: Every Tuesday 15:30 - 18 h

Location: Basement in teaching building 10, Erich-Weinert-Strasse 1, main campus

Who can come? Everyone :-) Students, Staff Members and Residents from Cottbus and surroundings
