Dr. A. P. Obafemi Olukoya

Dr. Olukoya Obafemi is a Research Associate and a Lecturer at the Chair of Environmental Planning, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. He earned a Doctoral degree in Heritage Studies from Brandenburg Technical University, a Master degree in Architecture from Cyprus International University in Cyprus and a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria.

His research interests focus on the conservation and management of (world) cultural and natural heritage in the context of climate change. He is involved in the teaching of Heritage Impact Assessment Module. He is a scientific member of ICOMOS International Committee on Vernacular Architecture (CIAV), International Association of Impact Assessment (IAIA), ICOMOS Nigeria, Association of Critical Heritage Studies, and the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism (INTBAU). He is a German Academic Exchange (DAAD) Alumni.
