Open day at chesco and the new research factory

At the beginning of June 2024, the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus invited the public to visit its premises and machinery. Also taking part: the Lausitz Science Park.

On June 1, the chesco team led by Prof. Klaus Höschler, Dr. Jane Worlitz, Dr. Beatrice Monique Rich, Heiko Witte, Anne Stabler and Yannic Adler gave numerous visitors an interesting look behind the scenes of the new research factory in Cottbus-Dissenchen, where employees are working on the green mobility of tomorrow.

Guests young and old built electric motors, marveled at state-of-the-art annexes, learned about structural change projects at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg and talked to us about the Lusatia Science Park, where the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco) will one day be located - in the immediate vicinity of the DLR Institute of Electrified Aircraft Propulsion.
