Successful premiere of the iCampus Cottbus Conference
The first round of iCCC2024 kicked off on May 15, 2024 with exciting keynote speeches and welcoming addresses. Chairman Prof. Harald Schenk, Prof. Thorsten O. Zander, Rupert Lange-Brandenburg (DB) as well as Tobias Dünow, State Secretary of the MWFK, and Stefan Ruebenacke from Bosch Sensortec took the interested audience into the future of structural change, reported on technology developments, visions for the future and transfer opportunities. This was followed by exciting sessions in the fields of medicine, health, mobility, condition monitoring with special topics such as AI, Parkinson's and more.
With exhibitors such as iCampus Cottbus, Zukunftsteam Lausitz, the Center for Quantum Technology and Applications Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco), Zander Labs, Perinet GmbH, etc., there were many opportunities for us to network and gain knowledge between science, research and industry.
The conference gave bright minds, innovators and industry partners a platform in Lusatia to present their ideas for the success of structural change to a broad specialist audience and to rethink the networking of science and industry.
"For me, it was a conference with very exciting and informative presentations, plenty of opportunities for networking with old and new contacts, a 3-minute pitch for the Lusatia Science Park, a beautiful, large exhibition stand that offered space for our structural change projects and at least one successfully initiated technology transfer," says André Röhrig, responsible for networking and internationalization in the LSP team.
