Pupil university informs about novel system of turbo fuel cell

Young people from grade seven upwards are invited to attend the online lecture "The T-Cell Transformer - Key Technology for the Energy Transition" on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. as part of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg's Student University.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz Peter Berg, holder of the Chair of Internal Combustion Engines and Flight Propulsion Systems, will discuss the T-Cell and the current technology expansion in his lecture. The students will get an insight into the operation of the novel turbo fuel cell system.

The T-Cell is the relevant energy converter of the future, which integrates itself into the public space by various design variants. It is able to implement requirements for a sustainable climate policy. As a decentralized energy provider, the T-Cell uses the existing infrastructure in a resource-oriented manner. It can be operated with regeneratively produced hydrogen.

Ten chairs of the BTU are working together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems in Dresden under the overall direction of Prof. Heinz Peter Berg and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on this sustainable solution for the energy transition.

To register for this lecture or for further information, please contact schueleruni(at)b-tu.de or call 03573 85-335. The link to the lecture will be sent to you after registration.

The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg's student universityThe pupil university offers interested students in seventh to 13th grades the opportunity to understand scientific and technical topics and to awaken the desire to discover and research. This gives them the opportunity to develop their own skills and expand their talents. Together with the Sparkasse Niederlausitz, the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is coming up with a new attractive program in which interested students can also work on various projects in small teams and consolidate their knowledge on excursions. Further information on the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg's projects for young scientists can be found at the following Internet address www.b-tu.de/unileben/kinder-und-schueler to find.
