Pioneering impulses for the dual Master's degree in teaching at BTU

The Senftenberg Workshop brings together a wide range of stakeholders from schools and universities, state and local politics, education administration, associations and, last but not least, student teachers. The focus of the 7th such event at BTU was the planned dual Master's degree programme for primary school teachers.

First test drive with new fuel cell vehicle

This day was eagerly awaited: The student team Lausitz Dynamics from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg tested its newly revised fuel cell-powered energy-saving vehicle on the race track for the first time. The test drive took place on 10 April 2025 at the DEKRA Lausitzring in Klettwitz and was a big step for the entire team.

Working together for STEM promotion in the south of Brandenburg

BTU is working with committed partners to promote extracurricular STEM education in the Elbe-Elster district. In Herzberg, Mayor Karsten Eule-Prütz, BTU Vice President for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr Peer Schmidt and Max Paulus from neuland21 e.V. opened the STEM cluster project ‘Makermobil Herzberg’.
