The interactive travelling exhibition Bakteriopolis can be experienced at BTU and will be presented from 8 to 11 July 2025 at the Cottbus main campus and from 15 to 17 July at the university's Campus Senftenberg.

Open and unconditional discussion, sharing ideas and learning from each other - that was the tenor of the eighth BTU Teaching Day. Honouring outstanding achievements in studying and teaching was one of the highlights of the event.

The BTU student team Lausitz Dynamics would like to thank institutions, companies and the university for their fantastic support. Aunanna Rashid came to Cottbus from Bangladesh and studied Power Engineering here. She now works as a scientist on Architecture & Integration of Propulsion System and electrified aircraft at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Cottbus.

A summer workout session on campus took a fun and unexpected turn last week when a student brass band of 50 musicians from our partner university Linköping University showed up unannounced — and turned the event into an impromptu party.
