Full Academic Year Programme applications will be accepted for Winter Semester 2024/2025, only.

Please submit your application online to the University Application Service for International Students uni-assist. The uni-assist online portal will be activated for applying in March, 2024. The application deadline for entry 2024 is 15 July 2024.

Due to a limited number of places, Prep Year Programme seating of qualified candidates is available on a first-come basis.

A separate application for a degree is not necessary. You specify the desired course of study during the application. Your application will also be checked on this.

You are requested to file the following documents with your uni-assist online application:

Do you want to go for a Bachelor's degree afterwards?

• higher education entrance qualification (as well as a certified translation into German or English)
• transcript of records from current studies
• a scanned certificate of German language proficiency at level B1  (as well as a certified translation into German)
  • accepted language certificates at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg: Goethe certificate B1 (at least 70/100 points in all parts), telc B1 (passed with at least 210 points), ÖSD B1 (at least 70/100 in each part), DSD I
• your scanned passport
• in case of a change of universities: exmatriculation and letter of none-abjection

Do you want to pursue a Master's degree afterwards?

• higher education entrance qualification for Germany (as well as a certified translation into German or English)
• bachelor certificate and transcript of records
• certificate of German language proficiency at level B1 (view the above)
• your scanned passport
• in case of a change of universities: exmatriculation and letter of none-objection
