Exhibition highlights the achievements of women’s empowerment

From 5 to 31 August 2026, the BTU will be hosting the ‘FEM*Lights @ BTU’ poster exhibition at the Information, Communication and Media Centre (IKMZ). Seventeen large-format posters will showcase female researchers and the results of the Female Professors Programme III. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge during the IKMZ’s regular opening hours.

Summer tour and a colourful, student-led end-of-term celebration

During the annual open day for the Architecture, Urban Planning and Civil Engineering study programmes at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, the studios and workshops will be open to offer fascinating insights into the diversity of these practice-oriented studies. Anyone interested is warmly invited to join a guided tour.

BTU’s Lausitz Dynamics team wins the Shell Eco-marathon

At one of the world’s largest energy efficiency competitions, the student team Lausitz Dynamics from the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) secured victory in the Prototype Hydrogen Fuel Cell category. The Shell Eco-marathon Poland took place from 24 to 28 June 2026 at the Silesia Ring in Kamień Śląski.
