Huajian Li was born in Chengdu, China, in 1992. He received his B.Sc. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Since 2023, he has been working as a research assistant in the project group "Cognitive Material Diagnostics" at the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS) in Cottbus, Germany.
His main research areas include:
- the development of a deep learning pipeline for 6D pose estimation,
- the generation of synthetic data for the training of deep learning models.
His scientific and professional interests are in the areas of computer vision, large language models and multimodal models.
