BTU welcomes exchange students for the winter semester
They enrich the BTU student body with an enormous variety of academic and cultural experiences. Among them are students attending the international degree programme "Transfer-Fluids-Materials in Aeronautical and Space Applications", which is offered jointly with the Université de Bordeaux (France) and the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Others participate in the exchange programme "Combined study and practical placements for engineers from developing countries" (KOSPIE) or are students from the German-Jordanian University who combine a semester of study at the BTU with a subsequent internship in Germany.
During the welcome session, the new exchange students received information on the organisation of the language courses offered by the Language Centre. The International Relations Office also provided a wide range of information on study organisation at BTU, cultural offerings in the surrounding area and planned day trips for the winter semester 2024/25. In addition, the representative of the student council (StuRa) informed about various offers from the interest group and planned campus events. Besides this, the new founded Local ERASMUS Initiative at BTU, a group of volunteer students dedicated to support students from all different exchange programmes, introduced themselves to the group.
The event did not only provide an opportunity for an informative exchange, but also for making their first connections with other students and the team of the International Relations Office.
BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is delighted to welcome this diverse and international community and is looking forward to the shared experiences and adventures in the winter semester 2024/25.
