Paper by Sophia Bittner-Zähr on Alumni and Alumni Management published
An article titled “Alumni Management and Temporal Spatial Distance: A Theoretical Investigation” by Sophia Bittner-Zähr was recently published in the journal Management Revue. This conceptual work is based on the topic of her dissertation and addresses alumni management with a particular focus on temporal and spatial distance. The paper thus addresses a central challenge in working with alumni—namely, the absence of a shared “here and now”—and categorizes alumni activities according to their effectiveness in bridging this distance.
Special thanks go to the BTU’s Office for Gender Equality, which supported the project with a grant toward publication costs.
