The PhD Café is back on the Central Campus!

The GRS, the PhD programmes and the Welcome Centre organized the 10th PhD Student Café on June 21. It could take place on-site for the first time in more than two years.

More than 20 PhD students and some postdocs attended the first PhD Café, which could again take place on-site in Cottbus. The GRS invited the participants, the coordination of the PhD programmes and the Welcome Centre to take advantage of the great weather on June 21. In a relaxed atmosphere, the young researchers met in the faculty garden of Faculty 2 on the central campus. Small snacks and drinks also provided a relaxed atmosphere so that young researchers from all faculties could exchange ideas.

In addition to information on current developments at BTU, the organizers took the opportunity to discuss the needs and interests of the doctoral students. There seems to be particular interest in advice on career paths after the doctorate. The organizers will try to communicate information about existing services and address them at the next PhD Café.

The next PhD Café shall take place on October 18 at Startblock B2 in Cottbus. Participants can join a guided tour to the CoLab. The announcement will follow soon via the GRS newsletter.
