Call for Applications: Viadrina Mentoring for Doctoral Candidates and Postdoctoral Researchers

Applications for the Viadrina Mentoring and Coaching Programme for doctoral students and postdocs (women, trans*, inter* and non-binary people) are open until 15 February.

The 12-month mentoring programme at the European University Viadrina includes the provision and support of an individually suitable mentoring relationship as well as workshops and personal coaching sessions to help participants plan their next career steps and prepare for application and appointment procedures. The support programme is an opportunity for networking within the academic community. International researchers get a deeper insight into the conditions, structures and processes of the German academic system.

The programme is aimed at PhD students in the final phase of their doctoral studies, as well as postdoctoral researchers who want to actively and independently shape their professional career. An academic affiliation with a university or non-university research institution in the State of Brandenburg is required. 

The programme is aimed exclusively at women as well as trans*, inter* and non-binary people. With this programme, Viadrina responds to the fact that women and gender-diverse people are still underrepresented in leadership positions.

We particularly welcome applications from people from non-academic families, from people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, from people with family responsibilities, from people of colour, from people with a history of immigration and from people without a German passport.
