Conference "The Tenure Track Principle: Career Paths and Cultural Change in the German Academic System"

The 2025 Tenure-Track Conference will address current debates on structural and cultural changes in the German higher education and research system. The event will take place on 15 and 16 May 2025 at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. Registration is open until 10 February.

The Confernce "The Tenure Track Principle: Career Paths and Cultural Change in the German Academic System" will take place on 15 and 16 May 2025 at the Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften.

In various panels, numerous renowned speakers will discuss the extent to which the tenure track principle is also suitable for academic career paths besides professorships. On the first day, there will also be a parliamentary evening organised by German U15, which will give you the opportunity to get into contact with science policy makers.
