Call for Abstracts: Present Your Research at the “DeCarbon Drafts” 2026!

As part of the DeCarbon Days on June 25, 2026, at BTU, the “DeCarbon Drafts” competition offers doctoral researchers a stage to present their findings in an innovative pitch format and win attractive prizes.

Would you like to present your research to a wide audience while sharpening your communication skills? On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the DeCarbon Days 2026 will take place at BTU. A special highlight for early-career researchers is the “DeCarbon Drafts” competition.

The format combines a compelling one-minute poster pitch on stage followed by an interactive poster exhibition. In addition to receiving valuable feedback and an official certificate of participation, participants have the chance to win up to 500 EUR in prize money, as well as other non-cash prizes from our partners.

How to participate:
Submit an abstract (max. 300 words) about your research project or doctoral thesis by May 15, 2026. The competition is open to all doctoral researchers at BTU.

Take this opportunity to network with scientists and show how your research contributes to transformation and decarbonisation!
