Call for Applications: CDI Decarbonisation Summer School 2026

The second "CDI Decarbonisation Summer School 2026 – Shaping the Future of Industry" is just around the corner. From August 31 to September 4, 2026, students, doctoral researchers, and young professionals will come together to develop innovative solutions for a climate-neutral industrial future. The application deadline is June 15, 2026.

The CDI Decarbonisation Summer School 2026 offers early-career researchers and young professionals the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping a climate-friendly and future-proof industry. The programme is organised by the Cluster Decarbonisation in Industries (CDI) in cooperation with BTU and will take place from August 31 to September 4, 2026, in the Startblock B2 on the BTU central campus in Cottbus (language: English).

The summer school combines hands-on workshops, industry case studies, and excursions, allowing participants to work closely with experts from academia and industry on real-world challenges. Results will be presented to industry partners at the end of the programme.

The programme is open to Master’s students, doctoral candidates, and young professionals from engineering, environmental sciences, economics, social sciences, and related fields. Interdisciplinary perspectives are highly encouraged.
