"The storm is getting stronger - so are WE!" - an inspiring evening

Once again this year, BTU took part in the 35th Brandenburg Women's Weeks under the motto "Trotz(t)dem!" with its own event on 26 March, a combination of a keynote speech entitled "Der Sturm wird stärker. WE too!" with speaker Heike Horn and improvisation theatre by Cottbuser Bühne 8 e.V.

The audience experienced a great conclusion to this year's Brandenburg Women's Weeks yesterday evening with an interactive keynote speech and improv theatre at BTU's Startblock B2. Especially in challenging times like these, we should have full access to our competences and be able to act with ease! With stories from real life and scientifically based tools, Heike Horninspired the participants to be a little more relaxed and friendly with themselves and to remain strong and able to act in difficult moments. Small interactive exercises encouraged the audience to join in and try things out. The improv theatre Rabota Karoshi from Cottbuser Bühne 8 e.V. framed this atmospheric event with lively and humorous performances.

Together with the city of Cottbus and many other participants, a total of 35 activities were offered in an extensive programme as part of the 35th Brandenburg Women's Weeks, which sent a strong signal in difficult times for gender equality issues. We defy this!
