The mathematics knowledge acquired in the preceding bachelor's degree program is to be deepened. Care should be taken to ensure that the mathematics knowledge required for the specialization subjects is acquired. It is advisable to have the modules attended approved by the examination board to ensure smooth booking in the examination office. The pre-approved modules can be found in the module catalog for the Master's program.

At least 8 credit points must be earned in mathematics as an examination. Together with the modules in the application subject, at least 20 credit points must be earned.
