PUTCyberDays 2026, taking place on 10–12 April 2026 at Poznan University of Technology is a high-energy, international event that brings together students, tech enthusiasts, and industry experts to explore the fast-moving world of digital securit – through practice, competition, and collaboration.

As part of the General Studies module (FÜS), students, under the guidance of Prof. Klaus Birkhofer, examined the global decline in biodiversity, human-wildlife conflicts and the country’s colonial past.

Charlotte is studying Environmental and Resource Management in the Master's programme at BTU and spent a semester abroad at the University of Vaasa in Vaasa, Finland, from August to December in the winter semester 2025/26.

Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral students can apply until March 26, 2026 for the newly designed edition of the Student Research Clubs. In contrast to previous Student Research Clubs, for the first time students have the opportunity to work on and realise their own research ideas in collaboration with other European students.

Full of energy, Ha Lien Pham and Maral Chavoshi Tehrani represent the BTU students in order to strengthen their voices within EUNICE and intensify international exchange.

Samar Dhahbi is studying for a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and was part of the very first cohort. She is currently writing her Master's thesis.

A delegation of ten researchers from Bar-Ilan University (BIU) in Israel visited the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on 3 and 4 February 2026. Together with researchers from BTU, the guests will explore opportunities for closer collaboration.
