Innovation you can touch

On Saturday (19 July 2025), the CHESCO research factory in Cottbus opened its doors to young and old.

The day offered the numerous visitors an exciting insight into the technologies and ideas of tomorrow.

The BTU project "Lausitz Science Park" (LSP) was also able to introduce itself. Sandra Spletzer, project employee in the area of networking and internationalisation, used the opportunity for intensive discussions - about the future prospects of the region, about the work in the Lausitz Science Park and about the opportunities the LSP offers committed people to actively participate in this development.

Designing a personal meme

In addition to a varied programme, from face painting and flight simulators to tricky exit games, interested visitors were able to design their own personal meme at the LSP stand. The results ranged from optimistic messages about the future of the region to self-deprecating statements, but always with a wink.

Whether technology enthusiasts, families or simply the curious: everyone got their money's worth and experienced the innovative power of Lusatia up close.
