Professions with a future

Imaging techniques are constantly improving, producing high-resolution and therefore increasingly comprehensive diagnostic data. Depending on the application, this and other patient data is pseudonymised (e.g. for medical registers such as the EPRD) - or assigned, for example in hospital information systems.

This highly sensitive data must remain under lock and key as it travels through data carriers, fibre optic cables and WiFi systems (data protection). Medical Computer Scientists are sought after in many areas of medicine, healthcare and the IT industry.
