AN EXHIBITION BY REISTROMMEL E.V. (March, 28th until April 04th) In 1989, more than 90.000 contract workers still supported the fulfillment of plans in an ailing GDR economy. Thus, nearly half of all foreigners living in the GDR were contract workers and as such brought to the country to have cheap labour for a limited timeframe.

The conference addresses the part that religion and the variety of Islam plays within the context of the project "Brandenburger Bildungspartnerschaften in der Migrationsgesellschaft BraBiM 2”. It is aimed at teachers, directors, school social workers of all general and vocational schools, and staff of migration consultation offices and migration social work.
