The Midterm Conference of ESA's research network 35 “Sociology of Migration”: "Towards Reflexivity in Migration Studies. Knowledge Production in Times of Contested Politics and Post-Colonial Dynamics" takes place as an online-conference on January 21-22.

The Viadrina University Frankfurt invites interested students, PhD candidates, NGO-activists and artists to apply for the Summer School Viadrinicum, taking place 17.- 30. August 2020. What happens after migration, where does it start and when does it end? These are the questions that will be discussed during the summer school. Applications are welcome until 6 July

10-11 July 2020: Workshop: "Decolonial Methods, Peripheral Selves: The Migrant Figure Between (South)East Europe and Global South Entanglements", Justus Liebig Universität Giessen

Different workshops and discussion events ( e.g. a creative writing workshop, a photography workshop and a dialogue-event for different generations ) are offered by the Stiftung Zukunft Berlin, the Walter Hallstein Institut (Humboldt University Berlin) and the International Journalist programmes e.V. (IJP). The project is financed by Stiftung Mercator.
