As part of the above-mentioned research project, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) collects and processes data as follows:

The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg monitoring office uses its online input mask to collect data on incidents of (extreme) right-wing influence and discrimination that take place in the context of the university. An email address is required to submit data. The provision of further personal data is not mandatory and is voluntary. The data provided will be stored in accordance with the data protection information pursuant to Articles 12 and 13 GDPR and processed statistically in anonymized form. The documentation of incidents serves to generate knowledge about the occurrence of incidents of discrimination in the context of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in order to provide information about discrimination on the basis of a solid database and to be able to develop targeted preventive measures. The monitoring office regularly publishes the data it has collected in a statistically prepared and anonymized form in an annual report.

If you would like further advice and support, you can indicate this. In this case, the BTU monitoring office will contact you and arrange appropriate services. The data required for advice and support will be stored for this purpose.

I hereby voluntarily agree to participate in the above-mentioned research project and consent to BTU processing, evaluating, researching, exploiting and anonymously publishing my data, in particular any personal data, images and other recordings, documents and other works, examination, test and other results produced or handed over by me, etc. for the above-mentioned research project.

This also applies to the data collected as part of my participation in accordance with Art. 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I.e. such personal data that reveals various information relating to origin, political opinions, religious or ideological beliefs or trade union membership, health data or data relating to sex life or sexual orientation.

I am aware that I will not receive any remuneration for participating in the research project, using the results and publishing them.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The easiest way to revoke your consent is to contact BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Chair of Methods and Theories of Social Work with a focus on community work and the prevention of right-wing extremism, by post at Building 10, Room 10.310, Lipezker Straße 47, 03048 Cottbus or by e-mail radvan(at)b-tu.de.
