Get to know attractive study options at the university info day

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will provide comprehensive insights into its complete range of bachelor's degree programs on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its Senftenberg campus. Interested parties have the option of attending in person or online.

This information day for bachelor's degree programs is open to high school graduates from Saxony who would like to use their school-free university information day to visit the BTU, as well as prospective students from Brandenburg and other German states, parents, and teachers.

The varied program, with opportunities to get to know the university and receive advice in person, includes information about all the degree programs offered by the BTU in Cottbus and Senftenberg, as well as guided tours of the Senftenberg campus and modern laboratories. In addition to on-site participation, prospective students have the opportunity to attend an exciting online lecture program without pre-registration.

The foyer of the Konrad Zuse Media Center with the central information boothis the contact point for participation in presence. During individual discussions, the team of the Central Student Advisory Service will be available to answer all questions about studying - from application modalities and admission requirements to concrete study conditions, the semester ticket and study semesters abroad. But also possibilities of the orientation study and the dual study offers established in co-operation with enterprises are pointed out.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers its students a challenging education, individual support and the opportunity to learn from and with each other with curiosity and openness. Already during their studies, they have the chance to realize their potential and to help shape perspectives. Of the 6,800 students at BTU, 40 percent come from abroad. International students from 125 countries are enrolled here. The BTU's study programs currently include 29 bachelor's degree programs, 32 master's degree programs, and four doctoral / Ph.D. programs. It was not until the current winter semester of 2022/23 that future-oriented study programs such as Digital Societies, Building History and Art History, and Medical Technology, as well as highly topical offerings in the field of Artificial Intelligence, were newly established at BTU.
