Ingeniously creative: exhibition at the Senftenberg site library

Until 30 September 2025, the library at the Senftenberg site of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is giving interested parties the opportunity to see the creativity of university members for themselves. Painted, photographed, felted, modelled and knotted items are on display.

Quality of life in old age - think tank for good ageing in rural areas

In future, those affected will work together with BTU scientists at the practical research centre in Cottbus to find out how mobility, social integration into society and the health of older people can be improved. The launch ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 9 September 2025 at 3.30 pm in the "Startblock B2" start-up centre.

How Urban Planning can fund independent living and healthy ageing is the subject of Mia Wilimzig's bachelor's thesis. The student on the Urban Planning and Urban Design study programme looked at the question of what influence urban structure has on health.
