In particular, the focus will be on the legal, ethical and practical issues surrounding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in court proceedings.

The public lecture series "Forensic Sciences: On the trail of the crime" at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will continue on Friday, 10 October 2025 at 5:30 pm. The DAAD Prize 2025 goes to Master's graduate Fatemehsadat Toghraie

Fatemehsadat Toghraie comes from Iran and has been studying for a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) since 2021. On 6 October 2025, she was awarded the university's DAAD Prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, as part of the celebrations to mark the start of the academic year.
