The school year has begun. Even though it may not yet be the final year, many young people will soon have to make decisions about their future prospects. For all those for whom studying is a good option, there is now a new programme at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg that leaves no questions unanswered.

Orlando Robeck is in his 4th semester at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg studying Civil Engineering as part of a co-op programme. In this interview, he tells us what he particularly likes about his degree programme and Cottbus.

The new Medical Engineering study programme started at the Senftenberg site of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) in the 2022/23 winter semester. Painted, photographed, felted, modelled and knotted items are on display.

In future, those affected will work together with BTU scientists at the practical research centre in Cottbus to find out how mobility, social integration into society and the health of older people can be improved. The launch ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 9 September 2025 at 3.30 pm in the "Startblock B2" start-up centre.
