Children's university lecture on the Mathematics of networks

"Lost your way? - That wouldn't have happened with maths! The Mathematics of Networks" is the topic of the children's university lecture at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on Wednesday and Thursday, 12 and 13 February 2025.

Vault replica: Notre Dame chief architect visits unique laboratory

The stereotomy laboratory at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) houses a replica of a Notre Dame vault. It was built for teaching and research purposes under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. David Wendland. He has now welcomed Notre Dame chief architect Pascal Prunet to show him the work.

Dr.-Ing. Ramona Riedel researches and teaches at the Faculty Environment and Natural Sciences at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and is currently completing her habilitation. She is heavily involved in promoting young talent in the STEM sector. The International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11 February is an opportunity to introduce the scientist.

Notre-Dame lecture: Chief architect talks about the reconstruction

In December, the world celebrated the reopening of Notre-Dame. Now chief architect Pascal Prunet is coming to BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg to talk about the restoration on 11 February. The public is not only cordially invited to attend on site, the lecture will also be streamed live on YouTube!

Lecture evening: The changing future

The public lecture series "Open BTU" on Wednesday, 29 January 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the end of the winter semester will focus on modern futurology and transformation research as well as the promotion of future skills.
