Max Grünebaum Prize

Since 1997, the Max Grünebaum Prizes have been awarded every fall in Cottbus. In the presence of members or descendants of the Grünebaum family, the awards are presented to outstanding young artists from the State Theater and young scientists from the BTU. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation is responsible for selecting the winners of the Max Grünebaum Award, based on the recommendations of the Commission for Research, Young Academics and Technology Transfer of the BTU and in consultation with the Executive Board.
