Curriculum Vitae
Christine Ruffert, born in Hildesheim in 1978, studied physics at Leibniz University Hannover. She has been working in the field of microsystems technology for over 20 years, obtaining her doctorate in microactuators in 2007 and her venia legendi in microfluidics in 2017. Research stays in Paris and Lausanne complemented her education. After working in industry, Christine Ruffert first took up a position at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems in Mainz and moved to Cottbus in 2019. At the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems in Cottbus, she conducts research in the fields of microsensor technology and MEMS with a strong focus on industrial applications and teaches experimental physics and microsystems technology at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.
