Expertise from industry for practical research and teaching

Prof. Dr. Arnd Garsuch, an expert from BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, has strengthened the Institute of Materials Chemistry at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. As an honorary professor of technical electrochemistry, he will contribute his expertise to joint research projects and the further development of the courses on offer at the Senftenberg campus.

Students give top marks to BTU Master's program in Physics

The international Master's program in Physics at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), opened in 2021, is highly recommended by its students. It is excellently positioned in the current Master's ranking of the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE).

Beacons of structural change

On November 30, 2023, the Minister President of the State of Brandenburg, Dr. Dietmar Woidke, visited outstanding structural change projects at BTU. He stopped by the Materials Researchers at SpreeTec neXt, was taken on a tour of the innovation landscape of the Lausitz Science Park and learned about modern technologies for climate-friendly mobility at chesco.
